David Harvey began studying dance under Michael Falotico. He later trained at Interlochen Arts Academy, The Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington DC, and the Lines Ballet Training Program, where he was awarded the Shenson Performing Arts Fellowship by the San Francisco Foundation.
Harvey joined Alonzo King Lines Ballet in 2008, and proceeded to dance principle roles in almost 400 performances in 140 cities across the globe. He has also worked closely with Bobbi Jene Smith, and with San Francisco based companies Kunst-Stoff, Kara Davis' Project Agora, and the San Francisco Opera. Harvey has been teaching for the Lines Ballet School programs since 2009 and is currently a freelance dancer, choreographer and teacher.
